The team deploys industry-standard Design Thinking and proven brand naming and strategy approaches, collaborating closely with founders and venture leads. It offers comprehensive and integrated support for start-ups in the initial stages of brand, UI and UX. The team collaborates with brand and digital design agencies to execute on projects, drawing on its broad roster of contacts.

Communications & marketing

At Webn our communications and marketing team has experience in external communication strategy-building and execution for traditional finance, management consultancy and creative industries.

Communications & PR: the team supports Webn portfolio companies to execute campaigns that achieve share of voice and build media relationships across traditional business media and trade press. Activities include content creation; crisis and reputation management; influencer communications; investor relations; media relations; messaging development; and, senior and leadership profile-building via social and traditional media.

Marketing: The team creates and delivers content marketing campaigns; cross-channel campaign and strategy building; and, agency and design briefing, sourcing and management. Further, the team provides advice and support for email marketing and digital marketing campaigns, as well as developing website and design briefs. It works closely with the Brand & Design team and Webn portfolio companies to deliver campaigns and content from inception to execution.

Compliance & legal

At Webn our compliance & legal team is an active participant in industry working groups that are engaging with legislators, policy makers and regulators on key issues for the Web3 sector. This means that the team can advise new portfolio companies on upcoming developments that may be relevant to their business models and viability.

The team believes that, while there may be areas of uncertainty when operating new business models and solutions utilising blockchain technologies, embedding legal and regulatory considerations from the inception of a project will ultimately provide a higher chance of success and the ability to scale through wider adoption.
